At Echo-Sigma, we understand that emergencies are unpredictable and can strike at any time. Oftentimes, being prepared can mean the difference between life and death. Our founder Chris knows this first hand and it is why we are so passionate about preparing others. At the age of 18, Chris embarked on a fishing expedition with his father that turned disastrous. The boat left the dock in the Bay of Los Angeles, and just moments into the journey, a spark in the engine room turned into a raging fire. Chris, his dad and other travelers were forced to jump-ship and swim back to shore with nothing more than the clothes on their backs. There they were - in another country, with no money, no clothes and no car keys. Out of this experience, Chris has made it his life mission to not only be prepared personally, but to help other people so they can overcome and thrive in disastrous situations.
