  1. Had this bag for three years 5 Star Review

Posted by on 16th Aug 2017

This get home bag is excellent and I had it for three years so far. I like that this website allows you to have options on if you want the SOG tools or other important items. I got the MRE and water supply option along with fenix flashlight. The fenix flashlight died on me around a year ago and I am not sure what is wrong with it. I replaced it with Goal Zero Switch 10 USB multi-tool kit when it was on sale during the spring earlier this year. This includes solar panels, charger for phone, and USB flashlight. I use a leatherman rebar multi-tool and had a ka-bar knife for a while. Recently, I found that I wanted a cheaper, durable, fixed knife to put in this kit in case my ka-bar gets stolen. I bought the cima knife on amazon. I added a G17 for hunting/protection purposes with the kit and Swedish fire steel to start fires if I need to. Also, I added klean canteen single wall water bottle to boil water and a life-straw in case starting a fire is not an option. I am glad that this website is offering life-straw for free. Overall, the most I used out of this kit was the first aid kit and the water packets. I got very thirsty and I was stuck in 3 hour stop traffic close by vail resort last winter. The road was blocked by semi trucks and nobody could move. I was glad I had water packets handy and was hydrated. It is not about preparing for apocalypse but preparing for surprises like long traffic and natural disasters. I was very glad I was prepared and had everything I need. I totally recommend Echo Sigma bags and it is a fun hobby to upgrade your bag over time to suit your needs.

  3. Very good get home bag 4 Star Review

Posted by on 10th Feb 2016

This is just what I wanted, a starter kit with a good base level of emergency supplies. I rated it a 4-star due to the short waist strap. I have a 36" waist and the strap is simply not long enough. My compliments to the customer service at Eco-Sigma, they were very helpful in directing me to sources for the strap material. All in all, this is a great based set with plenty of room to build and customize for your personal taste.

  4. My 2nd Pack! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 1st Feb 2016

This is my second Get Home Bag from Echo-Sigma and it's my second for good reason. The first bag was one I carried everywhere my car went (stored in my trunk) and it became an absolute life saver on a recent camping trip. Having said that I will never be without one and will never buy from another company. I challenge anyone out there to find a better Get Home Bag because you won't. Get one for your friend. Get one for your kids. Get one for your parents. Get one for the car. Get one for the home. Just get one. You won't be disappointed and you won't be unprepared.

  5. This is what you need. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 9th Dec 2015

I originally bought this bag to put in my daysailer, in case I get pushed offshore and a day sail becomes an overnight or two. It's better than that. It now lives in the trunk of my car, and travels with me. It's handy, it's a decent sized bag with all the items I want in an emergency and space for more. I use the flashlight regularly and because it's not in a closet in the spare bedroom I put it back--that's a big deal, I am in the bag regularly so I know where it is, what's in it, and what the condition is. And what's the point of having an emergency bag if you never see it, suddenly realize the flashlight doesn't work, the food is expired and the spare batteries are flat, and the thing you thought was in it, isn't...? This bag is perfect and I have my eyes and hands on it almost every day.

  6. All we need! 5 Star Review

This is a compact but comprehensive bag. I bought another. This is the bag for you if a total compact no bs bag without fluff is desired

  7. Solid product 5 Star Review

Posted by on 22nd Jul 2015

I purchased this kit as my first means of preparation for a possible crisis scenario. The price is very fair for what you get and I loaded mine with a number of the offered upgrades. Your biggest concern carrying such a pack is other human beings, it has you covered on almost every other concern you might have over the course of a few days.

  8. I'm impressed. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 20th Jul 2015

This is probably the coolest thing I've ever ordered online. I am very, VERY satisfied with my purchase. It came fast and in great condition. I am very happy you are able to customize the bag before you buy it.I was also glad to see bags of water and not boxes. Thank You Echo-Sigma!!!

  9. The get home bag speaks for itself. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 27th Jan 2015

I just received my get home bag today. I pulled everything out to look at what was there. I've found out everything was there with room to place extra in it. Weapon, extra ammo, change of clothes, ect. I still need to get my camp ax and shovel. Thanks guys you did a great job with this bag. I'm looking forward to getting a bug out bag from you guys in the future. to keep in my jeep. Thanks again guys....

  10. This thing is awesome 5 Star Review

Posted by on 2nd Jan 2015

What more can I say, this bag is awesome. It comes with everything you need to get started, and plenty of extra room in the bag if you decide to start expanding. That said, expanding isn't really necessary if you plan to use it as intended. If you want great quality stuff at a great price, look no further than this bag!
