Unlike other natural disasters like hurricanes, where weather instruments can detect the storm forming long before it hits land, earthquakes do not give any warning. Lightweight and packed with enough supplies to last 24 hours, the Runner is perfect for supporting you as you make your way to safety.
This is one of our more lightweight packs, giving you a very basic set of supplies you’re most likely to need in the first 24 hours of an emergency. If you’re looking for something more substantial for activities like backpacking or hiking, you can also purchase those ready-to-go bags alongside the Runner from Echo-Sigma.
Some excellent survival tools to have include a flashlight, a knife, and a tent. Earthquakes bring down most structures, so shelter will become extremely important as well.

Excellent Purchase - should not have waited so long to make it!
I've been looking for a kit that my wife and I could keep at our desks at work. It had to be small, easily stowed, shelf-stable, and offer everything we'd need to get home from the office after a disaster. For that purpose, this is absolutely the kit! A thoughtful and useful kit that will give you just about everything you need (and nothing you don't) to survive a rough hike home. The only thing missing is a small radio, but there's room for it in the pack, and with that minor addition, this kit is perfect.
